Abstract

The aim of the investigation is to study the influence of controlled Novocain sympathetic denervation on the character and intensity of pain syndrome among patients with acute intestinal obstruction in the postoperative period. The reduction of the level of pain by 1 point among 58 patients of the main group after the Novocain block has allowed to activate patients earlier and as a result it has improved the course of the postoperative period, enabling early recovery of the intestinal peristalsis.

Key words

sympathetic denervation, postoperative pain, adhesive process.
